Soucy June 25, 1956 - September 28, 2011 DRACUT — Normand J. Soucy of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011. He was the husband of Marion (Brousseau) and the devoted, loving father of Danielle, Kyle, Laurel and Todd Soucy. Born on June 25, 1956, he was a cherished son of the late Rene H. and Claire L. (Couillard) Soucy. He attended Bishop Guertin High School, graduating in 1974. Normand worked in his father's business, Soucy Wire and Iron Works of Lowell, for many years and later became Vice President of the company. Norm was a warm and caring person who enjoyed sharing his knowledge to help others. Saddened by his loss, Norm will be missed by his seven brothers and sisters, Denise and Richard Ayotte of Dracut, Louise and Robert Vercellin of Hudson, N.H., Jean and Alice (Roy) Soucy of Tyngsboro, William and Renee (Masse) Soucy of Dracut, Henri Soucy and Jack Kirschenbaum of Malden, Paul and Elaine (Champagne) Soucy of Sandown, N.H., and Daniel and Karen (Gath) Soucy of Lowell. He also leaves his Godfather, Andre B. Soucy of Lowell, and an aunt, Cecile Joyal of Tyngsboro. His many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will remember him always with fond memories.
